Our COVID-19 policies

Please read our policies and instructions carefully to understand the measures we have put in place to ensure the safety and protection of you, your family and all visitors to the site. We want to provide the magical experience we always strive for, but to do so we need everyone to be considerate and respect our COVID-19 rules and regulations.

Staying Safe at the Marldon Christmas Tree Farm

Here at the Marldon Christmas Tree Farm we have been working as hard as possible to ensure that we can remain open and remain COVID compliant and most importantly, providing a safe location for both you, your family, our staff and the entire community, allowing us all to enjoy this unusual, but magical Christmas season

Our number one priority is to ensure the safety of each individual on site and therefore we have followed all Government guidelines for COVID-19 and have put the following safety measures in place to ensure the safety of all of our visitors and colleagues. We kindly ask that you please read our guidelines below prior to your visit, as you and your visiting party will be asked to comply with any measures we have in place.

Our COVID-19 measures

  • If you're unwell, displaying any COVID-19 symptoms, or have tested positive recently, please do not visit the farm. We'll work with you to change any bookings you have.

  • You'll be required to scan the COVID-19 Track and Trace QR code on site. Please download the COVID-19 NHS app here

  • In accordance with Government guidelines the maximum visitor group is six people (including children). Please respect this ruling at all times.

  • Parents are asked to ensure that their children adhere to social distancing and guidelines as it is our responsibility to put reasonable measures in place, but it is not our responsibility to enforce social distancing

  • All visitors aged 12 and over MUST wear a face mask in indoor areas, as er Government ruling (unless any exemptions apply, please bring valid proof of exemption where necessary). Masks will be available for anyone that may have forgotten or lost theirs.

  • On arrival and throughout your visit you will see signs displaying social distancing measures and procedures. These will be in various forms e.g. arrows marking out a one-way system, floor queue markers, sanitising stations etc. Please adhere to these.

  • Our teams will be continously undertaking deep cleaning of all areas

  • When interacting with our visitors, our staff will maintain social distancing where possible at all times for the protection of our staff, visitors and the wider community

  • We have done our utmost to ensure that everything on offer at the farm is both safe for our staff and visitors and we ask that you follow any instructions given by members of staff at all times, as well as ensuring that you make frequent use of any sanitisation stations on the farm.

  • We would prefer wherever possible that visitors pay by card when on site to limit the risk to our staff and yourselves

  • If you do need to use our toilets during your visit, please use hand sanitisers located outside the toilets before entering and ensuring you wash your hands thoroughly before leaving

  • To limit the risk to other customers, please try not to touch any items in the shop unless you plan to purchase the item

  • Please avoid touching fences, barriers, signs etc wherever possible

  • We ask that you follow our on-site instructions and maintain the 2m distance from other households at all times. Our one-way systems are in place for your safety, so please adhere to them!
